Catholic University’s Department of History congratulates our 2019 inductees into Phi Alpha Theta, the national honor society recognizing excellence in the study of history.
On Wednesday 24 April, the Department’s Phi Alpha Theta chapter adviser, Professor Árpád von Klimó, presided at the induction ceremony, which also honored this year’s graduating seniors and their senior thesis projects. The department awarded the John Zeender Prize for best senior thesis to Susannah Marshall for her work entitled “Religion in Service of Politics: Egyptian Propaganda from 1500-1150 BC”.
